In a very formal definition, Lego is "a child's plastic construction set for production mechanical models". Agreeing to this definition, Lego does not sound any fun at all. Children and mechanics naturally don't fit in the same sentence. A more permissible definition of Lego could be "set of colored bricks which can be put together in order to create buildings, houses, characters and many other fun things".
Lego is the name of a firm based in Denmark, known all over the world for manufacturing these plastic pieces that brought children of many age so much fun over the last years. At first, Lego was composed of wooden pieces which were a bit heavier for kids to play with all day. Even so, Lego sets had a huge success amongst kids' creativity. While Lego has made it easier for parent to pick the right gift, things got difficult when this firm started production extra sets, similar to puzzles, which could recreate exact characters, construction and even entire movie scenes. Today, Lego creates blocks which, once put together, seem supreme characters that children have fallen in love with such as Prince of Persia and the forever-famous Harry Potter.
Harry Potter
Harry Potter Lego is really composed of 2 distinct branches: you can either buy your child Lego sets that help the recreate scene from the movies or you can buy the critical pieces to help them build together a small Harry, Ron, Hermione and other supreme Harry Potter characters. The sets which recreate scenes are able to do so in great detail, showing children elements which can be found inside structure and pushing their imagination to greater limits. While sets are more complicated and quite difficult for smaller children, Harry Potter Lego characters are really fun collectible to have and you can buy some extra and place them all nearby the new Hogwarts castle which your child just helped build.
Amongst the Hp Lego characters, you can find: Harry Potter himself, his companion Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, old and rigorous Rubeus Hagrid, Lucius Malfoy, Minerva McGonagall, Severus Snape, Albus Dumbledore, Dobby, Marcus Flint, Rolanda Hooch, Draco Malfoy, Oliver Wood, Ginny Wesley, Professor Flitwich, Argus Filch, Fenrir Greyback, Arthur Weasley, Molly Weasley, Luna Lovegood, Lord Voldermort, Bellatrix LeStrange, Ginni Weasley and the evil and ugly Dementors.
Prices for Lego sets recreating scenes are a tad more high-priced as children have to put together many elements until they can come up with the final setting. In other words, sets are more complicated and can keep children occupied for hours. Characters are just like action figures and can be collected and maybe exchanged in the middle of friends until every child can have the perfect variety of Harry Potter characters made from Lego pieces. And if Harry Potter is not what your child fancies the most, you can crusade amongst the many other Lego sets ready on the manufacturer's valid website. You have to admit, with all those X-men and Power Rangers action figures, Harry Potter Lego really completes the collection!
